FENDI
While everyone tried to use pops of color throughout there collection, Fendi kept with the concept of Fall. Dark colors, mainly navy mixed with vibrant tights, orange, saffron and burgundy. The collection reminded me of the Olsen twins, Mary Kate and Ashley. The thin models ordained oversize furs with colorful tights. I enjoyed the “gossip girl” wear and can picture any New York Socialite stomping down 5th Avenue in five degree weather.

Tomas Maier has delivered again. One of my favorite menswear designers created a collection perfect for a classic lady by day with an edge at night. Colors, lace, bouffants, and one of my favorite models, Karolina Kurkova, the collection was amazing. Two thumbs way up!
P.S. I still am hoping for the $15,000 Bottega watch : )

Harper’s BAZAAR March 2011 cover. LOVE EVERYTHING!!!! The Fendi shades, Donna Karan dress, the Panda!

Who can ever yell and be disappointed at Mr. Jacobs? Metallics, lace, polka dots, and stricter fitting clothing was prominent throughout the Marc Jacobs show. The color choices were magnificent: hunter greens, deep blues, and my ultimate favorite plum reds. Everything was noteworthy, minus some of the shoes.

The minimal design clothing characterized by architectural edges was definitely one of my favorite collections from NYFW. Victoria Beckham utilized pops of color including vibrant pinks, saffron, and reds, that every modern lady should want in her wardrobe.

Fashion Week is finally upon us which means my already busy, hectic, chaotic life is going to get even busier, more hectic and more chaotic. To make it fun for me I decided to post my favorite looks from each of the Runway shows that we buy in my office. First up is Prabal Gurung. I will consider Prabal to still be an up and coming designer that I have soley fallen in love with due to this dress that was shown in February 2011, Town & Country. This empowering dress has had my phone off the hook since so many women are fighting to wear it for their next big event.

When it comes to his Fall 2011 collection, Prabal is bringing the fiery beast to fashion. Teaming with Swarovski, the bedazzled pieces are a mixture of sexy fiery demons walking in heels and the ice princess.
